SSG wins back-to-back games against Doosan to sweep the three-game road series. Jeon Eui-san (23) scored the winning run in extra innings. Doosan suffered a heartbreaking defeat for the second straight day.
SSG won the final game of a three-game weekend series against Doosan in the 2023 KBO League regular season at Jamsil Stadium on Sunday, 8-5, with Ha Jae-hoon and Choi Jeong hitting the winning runs in the 10th inning.
In the first game, they were swept 1-10. We lost despite sending out Kim Kwang-hyun. I washed my face the day before. After falling behind 3-5, they came back to win 7-5. The win completed the sweep. He stayed on the mound until the 10th inning and finished the game with two innings of one-run ball. Blon was charged with the loss, but earned the win.
At the plate, Jeon went 1-for-2 with two RBIs, including the game-winning hit in the top of the 10th. He followed up his solo shot the day before. Choi went 1-for-1 with a solo home run, two RBIs, two runs scored and one stolen base. Reached 200 RBI for the eighth consecutive season. Eighth all-time.
Ha Jae-hoon hit a two-run home run to go 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run scored. Back-to-back cannons after his long ball the day before. Park Sung-ho had three hits and one RBI, and Choo Shin-soo had three hits and one RBI. Kim Sung-hyun also had one hit and two RBIs.
Doosan starter Alcantara pitched seven innings, 메이저놀이터 allowing four runs (two earned) on nine hits (one home run) with no walks and three strikeouts in a Quality Start Plus (QS+) performance. He topped out at 156 mph with a hard fastball and splitter. He was shaky early, but still managed to go seven innings. He came out of the game down 4-4.
Hong Gun-hee came in next and gave up one run on one hit (one home run) with two walks and two strikeouts in one inning. She took the loss. Kim Myung-shin pitched 1.1 innings of one-hit ball with two strikeouts and one run, while Jeong Chul-won gave up three hits, one walk and two runs in 0.1 innings. Kim Yoo-seong pitched 0.1 innings of scoreless relief.
