Kane’s transfer rumors, manager uncomfortable…”It’s not good for Tottenham, it’s not good for Kane”

Enze Postecoglou says he doesn’t want Harry Kane’s transfer saga to drag on.

Kane is currently being linked to big clubs outside the English Premier League (EPL), including Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). Reports continue to pour in that teams in need of a striker have approached Kane, and even made offers, in a bid to sign the world’s best striker at the moment. Some reports have suggested that Kane has reached a personal agreement with Munich and that the only thing that remains is an agreement between the clubs.

Nothing is set in stone. Tottenham Hotspur have maintained their stance that they will not sell Kane, or if they do, it will be for a high transfer fee, but it’s hard to say that their attitude is set in stone. That doesn’t mean they’re not looking to re-sign him. According to local reports in England, Tottenham have tabled a new offer for Kane that would give him a new contract and a guaranteed retirement, but Kane is reportedly unwilling to accept a new deal until after the transfer window closes. The longer the Kane saga drags on, the more Tottenham fans will grow weary.

And it’s not just the fans who are getting tired. Postecoglou himself has expressed his discomfort with the length of Kane’s transfer saga, saying it’s not good for the player or the club.

“Postecoglou insists he is not comfortable with the player’s current situation and has urged the club to make a decision on his future,” the Telegraph quoted him as saying. 메이저사이트

Postecoglou said: “It’s natural to say that I’m not comfortable with it (Kane’s transfer speculation). Kane is a huge figure. I don’t work with a focus on Kane’s transfer speculation, but I know that every time I talk to you guys, the first question I’m going to get is Kane’s transfer speculation. So I have to deal with that, and I don’t want to drag it out too long. I don’t think it’s good for Kane, I don’t think it’s good for the club,” he said of his thoughts on Kane’s transfer speculation.

There are still three weeks until the league starts. No manager would be happy to see their key striker’s future remain unclear. Postecoglou has made his discomfort with the situation clear in public.
