Head coach Jurgen Klinsmann highly praised Lee Kang-in (Mallorca), the future of Korean football.
Coach Jurgen Klinsmann was asked about Lee Kang-in at a press conference before the game against Colombia held at Munsu Stadium in Ulsan on the 23rd and said he was an ‘outstanding talent’.
The Korean national soccer team, led by coach Klinsman, will have a friendly match against Colombia at Munsu Stadium in Ulsan at 8:00 pm on the 24th.
Coach Klinsman first met Lee Kang-in through the national team. He was a member of the TSG (Technical Research Group) during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, analyzed and studied the World Cup game, and steadily followed the Korean game to confirm Lee Kang-in’s performance.
Lee Kang-in played an active role as Bentoho’s main resource and raised a cross to help Cho Kyu-seong (Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors) pursue the goal in the second game against Ghana, 0-2. Even after that, he contributed to the national team’s second round of 16 advance in the away World Cup and presented the coach to the people.
Lee Kang-in left Valencia, where he grew up as a youth, from the 2021/22 season and made a new nest in Mallorca. 먹튀검증
Director Klinsman also did not miss Lee Kang-in’s performance. He said, “Lee Kang-in is a very talented player. It is interesting for any coach to see a 19-year-old player with such talent.”
He also added, “I’ve been watching Lee Kang-in’s Mallorca game. If he goes public and shows good form, he will be given more time in the national team.”
Moreover, he was proud of coming to Korea from overseas to play an A match at such a young age. Klinsman said, “It’s hard to fly to my country from abroad and play, but Lee Kang-in never loses his smile.”
As manager Klinsman said he wanted to play football that maximizes the strengths of the players, attention is focusing on whether Lee Kang-in will be able to develop his presence at Klinsman in the future.
